PHILOSOPHY

At Charles Hull Contracting, environmental, health and safety management is of paramount importance to all aspects of our operations.

Our corporate philosophy is to 'conduct operations safely and responsibly, to ensure the health and welfare of the Charles Hull Contracting team, our clients, the community and the environment in which we work'

PRACTICE

Charles Hull Contracing has implemented a company-wide management system which:

  • ensures that all necessary processes and procedures are in place to address industry hazards;
  • adopt a risk management approach and emphasis a preferred order of control method to address risk;
  • ensure that our excellent environmental, health and safety performance is sustained and continually reviewed and improved.

The product of our management system, the Charles Hull Contracting environmental, Health and Safety Manual, is used on all sites. Employees and contractors are consulted, educated and trained in regard to its contents on an ongoing basis.

CLIENT APPLICATION

At Charles Hull Contracting, we recognise that the client business operations vary, as do their expectations and needs. As a result, site specific Environmental, Heath and Safety Plans are prepared for each project in addition to the manual. Our site specific plans reflect both anticipated site conditions and any specific client requirements.

Charles Hull Contracting is able to achieve the full intent of Environmental, Health and Safety Plans through the mobilisation of a committed workforce supported by project managers, engineers and a well resourced Environmental, Heath and Safety department.
